What Is D-Chain?
What Is D-Chain?
What Is D-Chain?
A public blockchain with advanced features to notarise compliant users' intents and transactions. It is designed to host decentralised applications for financial service providers, fiduciary businesses and other actors.
notarisation By qualified data verifiers
SSI runs on every level of D-Chain. Its governance ensures only qualified validators with valid verifiable credentials can take part in consensus. This creates the foundation for offchain data notarisation services performed by validators - a unique path to onchain Real World Assets representation.

notarised objects lifecycle management
D-Chain enables applications to register custom lifecycle management utilities for notarised objects, such as state transition after execution via an on-chain orderbook. This flexibility allows applications to define specific state transition processes while leveraging the chain's built-in functionalities.

credential provided RBAC
D-Chain implements Credential provided Role-Based Access Control for state transitions of notarised objects. This scalable approach uses off-chain verifiable credentials from trusted issuers, allowing applications to define and enforce roles without maintaining on-chain whitelists.

Platform-D by NYMLAB
Platform-D is a regulatory-grade Real World Asset notarisation and securitisation application implemented on D-Chain, transforming eInvoices into onchain investment grade digital assets. Leveraging on EU eIDAS regulation, eInvoice data are notarised, securitised and transacted onchain. D-Chain validators run software that provides support for both onchain transactions and offchain computation and data verification as part of the consensus process.
Compliance Automation
Compliance Automation
D-Chain can natively automate compliance onchain through the implementation of AVIDA protocol - a smart contract framework which supports the verification of multiple verifiable credential standards. Transacting on D-Chain can simplify audits and reporting, ensuring that data meet all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.
